22 Patterns in Lace, Cables and Texture

Contrasts is the debut book from Finnish knitwear designer Meiju K-P — a collection of 22 patterns that balance technical ambition with a genuinely enjoyable knitting experience. Meiju has been designing her own knitwear since her teens, and that instinct for how a garment should feel to make comes through in every pattern.

The collection includes pullovers, cardigans, scarves, and hats, all in a soft, detailed aesthetic built around elaborate lace, beautiful cables, and carefully finished edges. The pullovers and cardigans are mostly worked top-down, making sizing adjustments straightforward. Each design is functional and considered in its fit.
