Does your favorite pair of socks have a hole? Darn! Join this engaging workshop to save cherished garments from the landfill while learning the relaxing skill of darning. You are encouraged to bring any piece of knitwear to learn essential darning techniques with our amazing instructor, Jocelyn!

You can expect to learn how to effectively repair damaged knitwear, including selecting appropriate tools and materials as well as mastering a fundamental darning method. By the end of the session, you will leave with either a completed repair or significant progress on your project, depending on the extent of the damage.

Note: Materials are not included. Bring thread/yarn from your stash, or enjoy a 10% in-store discount on materials purchased for use in the workshop.

About the Instructor

‘Kwe, hello! Jocelyn is a proud Dartmouthian and passionate mender. A lifelong crafter, she began her mending journey in last January and has since repaired approximately 70 pieces. For Jocelyn, mending is a beautiful way to honor the effort and resources that go into the garments we wear while adding a personal and creative flair to wardrobes. Outside of mending, Jocelyn enjoys gardening, cooking, running, and listening to audiobooks,
