Make a quilted stocking you’ll look forward to hanging up every year!

In this two-session workshop with Meg, you’ll explore patchwork, quilting and lined stocking construction while creating a holiday project in your own colours.

Go classic with a two-colour checkerboard or mix things up with scrappy stripes. You’ll learn how to use a rotary cutter safely, chain-piece your patchwork, quilt on a domestic sewing machine, and assemble your stocking with a neat lining using the “bagging-out” method.

Note: This isn’t a learn-to-sew class, but if you’re comfortable sewing a straight line on a domestic sewing machine, you’re ready to join! Materials are not included. Bring from your stash or enjoy a 10% discount on in-store materials purchased for use in the workshop.
