Sole is a wonderful blend of fine Pima cotton and fine cashmere, making it an unusual combination of plant and animal fibres not normally found in cotton yarn. The 90% Peruvian Pima cotton mixed with 10% Mongolian cashmere make Sole beautifully soft. It is a 6 ply yarn with a triple twist, which makes it strong and yet delicate and shiny.  

Sole is lovely to work with and has beautiful stitch definition.  It works equally well for both textured knitting and plain stockinette stitch, and is also perfect for crocheting.

Sole is an ideal all year round yarn.  Perfect for light summer tops as well as warm cardigans and pullovers. It is also an excellent choice for accessories like scarves, shawls and hats.  As it is so soft, it is a good alternative for those who find pure wool too scratchy against their sensitive skin.

Note: Since Pascuali primarily supports small farmers and farms, not all their yarns are certified. As a rule, the farms cannot afford to obtain certifications such as GOTS. Instead, Pascuali reps travel to the respective regions to see the conditions for themselves -- their requirements are often higher than those of most textile certificates.
Additionally, Pascuali yarns are spun according to high standards either directly in the countries where the fibres are sourced or also in Italy and Portugal.
