Carve, print, and take home something beautiful — and completely your own. In this introductory block printing workshop led by local artist Kelly Bee, you’ll design and carve your own stamp — a monogram, a symbol, or a pattern of your choosing — and use it to print a set of custom cloth napkins.

You’ll learn how to transfer your design, carve your block, and print with a durable, long-lasting ink. At the end of the session, you’ll take home both your finished napkins and your custom stamp to use again and again.

Perfect for holiday hosting or gifting — this is a workshop that keeps on giving!

About the Instructor

Based in Halifax, Kelly (@inclusivestorytime) is an artist, parent, and passionate advocate for inclusive children’s literature, community, and social justice.
To that goal, Kelly is also an artist that works through textiles, block printing, zines, and more to express a message that meets our time. Here in Halifax, they teach art workshops to help others learn to express their message, speak up and speak out, and build community where we live.
