Pick up a hook and start crocheting — in just two hours. In this complete beginner workshop led by Beah, you’ll learn the fundamentals of crochet: essential terminology, the chain stitch, single crochet, and the core techniques you need to start any project with confidence.

Whether you’ve never held a hook before or just need a proper refresh, this hands-on session is the perfect place to start.

Note: Materials are not included. Bring yarn and a hook from your stash, or enjoy a 10% discount on in-store materials purchased on the day of the workshop for use during the session.

About the Instructor

Beah Learn (She/Her) is a knitter, weaver, and artist working in K’Jipuktuk, having just recently graduated with a BFA in Textiles and Fashion Design from NSCAD University. With a passion for natural fibre production and accessible skill sharing, Learn brings a joyful and patient teaching style to the sharing of craft technologies within her community. When she doesn’t have knitting needles in hand, Learn can be found whispering encouragement to the plants in her small container garden.
