Only Yoking by Olga Putano is a focused sweater knitting book built around a modular system: three base sweater patterns — one each in DK, fingering (sock/4ply), and worsted (aran) weight — each paired with four interchangeable yoke designs. The result is 12 distinct sweaters, with the flexibility to mix bases and yokes beyond that.

All patterns are worked top-down and seamlessly. The yoke is treated as the design element — each of the four yoke options per base introduces a different textured or colourwork pattern at the neckline, allowing the same sweater silhouette to read very differently depending on the choice.
