Pinta is a versatile, fingering‑weight yarn combining 60% extrafine merino, 20% mulberry silk, and 20% ramie for a unique balance of softness, sheen, and strength. Originally conceived as a sock yarn, Pinta’s natural fibre blend makes it an all‑rounder well suited to garments and accessories that demand durability, drape, and a refined finish.

What distinguishes Pinta from other yarns is its very unique composition: 60% merino, 20% silk and 20% ramie. The mulberry silk gives it a glossy shine and smoothness. It gets its robustness from its other very special ingredient: ramie, an eco-friendly fibre, highly sustainable and a very good alternative to synthetic fibres, is a plant fibre of the nettle family noted for its length and toughness.   

Pinta also supports the concept of sustainability and is naturally 100% ecological! It is highly durable and completely biodegradable which helps to prevent unnecessary waste. The fact that it does not have to be washed so frequently thanks to its natural self-cleaning properties also has a positive impact on the environment.

• Mulesing-Free

Note: Since Pascuali primarily supports small farmers and farms, not all their yarns are certified. As a rule, the farms cannot afford to obtain certifications such as GOTS. Instead, Pascuali reps travel to the respective regions to see the conditions for themselves -- their requirements are often higher than those of most textile certificates.
Additionally, Pascuali yarns are spun according to high standards either directly in the countries where the fibres are sourced or also in Italy and Portugal.

We accept returns on unopened products purchased in-store (or picked up in-store) within 14 days, provided you have your receipt.
